Here at Go Hadrian’s Wall, we expect you will want to spend plenty of time exploring the many sites and museums along the Roman Wall.

Our bespoke packages range from half-day, self-guided tours, through to guided, all-day tours — or longer.

There are a great range of hotels and B&Bs to choose from, so you can stay in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall Country and give yourself a real break amid magnificent scenery.

We arrange pick-ups and drop-offs, morning and evening, giving you the day to enjoy the sights — and sites — either with a guide or exploring on your own.

Some bus services do serve Hadrian’s Wall — including the ‘AD122’ in the summer, between Hexham Bus Station and Haltwhistle Rail Station, via the ‘Military Road’ (B6318). But if you prefer, we can save you any worries — about bus times or having to walk back — by meeting you at pre-arranged spots along the Wall (although we have no control over the weather).

There is so much to see and do. We have included a few of the major attractions in most of our itineraries — such as Housesteads Roman Fort, the Roman Army Museum at Walltown Crags and, of course, Steel Rigg with its magnificent views of the Wall along the Whin Sill. You may already be familiar with some iconic sites, from TV and films — such as Sycamore Gap, or ‘Robin Hood’s Tree’ as it is popularly known, after the Kevin Costner film.

Similarly, you could easily spend all day at Vindolanda Roman Fort, with its ongoing archaeological excavations, and a fabulous museum which includes some of the renowned Vindolanda Tablets — military as well as personal ‘letters’ to and from residents of the fort, which are some of the oldest handwritten documents ever found in Britain.

With Go Hadrian’s Wall you make the most of your time in this fascinating area. Whatever the size of your party, we get you there in safety and comfort.

Go Had Go Hadrian’s Wall — our passion is your enjoyment.
